Adding a backing to your embroidery (pt.1)

Adding a backing felt to your embroidery when you are keeping it in the hoop after you have finished, is a lovely way to hide all the stitching at the back. Your kit comes with felt and thread should you want to do this!

Before you start your embroidery, you need to take the felt and your hoop, a pen and some scissors. Using the inside smaller hoop, draw around it on the felt.

When you cut it out it will be the perfect size to cover the back of your work!
